The most unique part of Harada Bamboo must be the ferrule and Reel seat. 
The ferrule is not metal, but bamboo. Harada Bamboo invented a truly unique ferrule by combining bamboo pieces. The ferrule has double step insert. Bamboo is far lighter than any metals and give the cast the smooth feeling ever. 
Their another invention is the reel seat. You must have experienced your palm hurt by the gap between grip and reel seat filler. Harada bamboo avoids this problem by adding the height of the reel seat. You cannot go back to the nomal grip=ferrule once you experience this comfort. 
We can say this rod is best for short and middle range cast.
